                                Ideas for Better Sleep

     Most teenagers need about 8.5 to more than 9 hours of sleep each about 1 in 4 teens have trouble in sleeping.   36   It can also increase our chances of getting sick,and may be connected with weight gain in some can we get the sleep we need?Here are some ideas.

     Be active during the day.

     You’ve probably noticed how much running around little kids do and how soundly they sleep.     37     

     Exercises can decrease stress and help people feel more don’t work out too close to bedtime because exercise can wake you up before it slows you down.

     Avoid wine and drugs.

     Lots of people think that wine and drugs will make them relaxed and sleepy.   38   Drugs and wine disturb sleep,increasing a person’s chance of waking up in the middle of the night.

     Keep a sleep routine.

         39   Creating a set bedtime routine can improve this relaxation relax yourself every night by reading,listening to music,spending time with a pet,writing in a diary,or doing anything else.

     If you can’t make your bedroom a place without any high­tech products,at least shut everything down an hour or more before you turn off the lights.
