I’m very glad to have received your letter. Now let me tell you something about my life in Nanyang No 1 Senior High School.
My school lies in the east of the city with a history of 110 years. It has a pleasant environment with tall buildings, green trees, beautiful playground and gifted teachers and students who get on well with each other. Everyone is proud of working and studying here, including me. To my joy, I’ve made great progress in English though there are great challenges. For example, I have expanded vocabulary and improved reading comprehension through daily exercises. More importantly, I’ve learned to live on my own and quickly get used to the new environment here. It’s true that we are under great stress, but I take a positive attitude to it. In all, I am proud of myself and satisfied with my school life.
